A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF

Passion for Animals

Hello my name is Lydney and I am a registered veterinary nurse, pet sitter, dog walker and Pro dog trainer.
I have always had a passion to care for animals since I was young and always wanted to be around them. Growing up I had many pets including guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, tortoise, chickens, giant African land snails, fish, cats and a dog that I helped care for along side my parents. I currently have 5 guinea pigs, 1 African land snails and 3 snakes (whom are mostly rescues), alongside my sister's puppy, Harlow!
When my family dog unfortunately passed away, my family and I starting looking after family friend's dogs whilst they went away. I really enjoyed being able to provide care for other people’s animals so that they could have a nice holiday without worrying about them too much and providing the dogs with a comfortable environment they loved to come back too.
This gave me the idea to start my own business in pet sitting in 2019 so I could provide this comfort to owners and their range of animals in their own home.

I have since dove into my other passion of dog training! Animal behaviour has always been a huge passion and interest of mine especially in the veterinary world and how we can improve to make pets feel more comfortable when they visit.

I also have a keen interest in improving the relationship between dogs and their owners to help improve their lives by turning their struggles into strengths creating that strong bond! So, during COVID, I decided to follow this passion and become a Pro dog trainer with Absolute dogs!
